Architectural rendering

An image that shows how a building will look once it is built.

Architectural rendering is the practice of producing an image of a building or space before it exists. It sits between the technical drawing set, which describes how something is constructed, and the finished photograph, which can only be taken after completion.

Traditionally a rendering was produced by modelling the building in 3D, applying materials, placing lights, and running a renderer — a process measured in hours or days per image. AI rendering compresses that loop by generating the image directly from a drawing, sketch, or photo.
