Photorealistic rendering
A rendering intended to be indistinguishable from a photograph.
Photorealism is one possible output style, not the only worthwhile one. It aims to reproduce how a camera would record the scene: accurate reflections, depth of field, and the imperfections that make an image read as captured rather than drawn.
It is the right choice for sales material and competition boards. Earlier in design, a looser or more diagrammatic style is often better, because a photoreal image invites the viewer to judge decisions that have not actually been made yet.
