Concept sketch
An early freehand drawing that fixes an idea before the geometry is resolved.
A concept sketch carries intent rather than dimension — massing, a roofline, the way light enters — at a stage where committing to exact geometry would be premature.
Sketches are a strong rendering input precisely because they are loose. There is room for the model to resolve detail, and the result can be evaluated as a direction rather than a proposal.
